Expand Menu & Banner Changing
Users struggled to find products due to a cluttered menu, so I expanded it with categorized drop-down functionality to simplify the user journey and let users access quickly without browsing unrelated content in order to increasing engagement.
Additionally, I replaced the generic banner with actual product images linked to the new release product, providing a clearer showcase of Rexing’s offerings and making it easier to explore and engage with products.

Trust & Conversion Optimization
Under the banner, I add an information bar to provide information to reassure customers, addressing common concerns like product quality or support availability. Enhances trust and reduces potential hesitation during checkout to solve the pain point of the new users.
Visual & Promotional Enhancements
I replaced the cluttered gradient backgrounds with a modern, high-contrast aesthetic, improving readability and product focus. The 50% Off banner was redesigned with a stronger sense of urgency, while the Gift Guide section became more interactive, helping users filter recommendations based on their needs.
Enhanced Navigation & Category Segmentation
Users found it difficult to locate specific products, so I restructured the layout with a clear category-based navigation system. By grouping products into distinct sections—such as Dash Cams, EV Charging, and Body Cameras—I improved usability and discoverability, making it easier for users to find what they need quickly.

Enhancing Trust, Engagement, and Conversion
I redesigned key sections to improve user trust, engagement, and conversions. The "Shop with Confidence" section now clearly showcases benefits like free shipping, extended returns, and expert support, reducing hesitation and reinforcing credibility. The "As Seen On" section was refined for better readability and stronger social proof. I also enhanced the blog and updates section, replacing static promotions with engaging visuals and clear CTAs that encourage user interaction. Lastly, I simplified the footer layout, improving navigation while making the newsletter sign-up more prominent to boost subscriptions and user retention.

Responsive Web Design & Optimization
With 23% of visitors accessing the Rexing website from mobile devices—a number that continues to grow—I refined the design to ensure seamless adaptability across various screen sizes. By implementing a responsive layout and carefully selecting fixed or relative sizing for each element, I optimized the user experience, improving accessibility and usability across all devices.

Reflection
One key takeaway from this project was the importance of balancing aesthetics with functionality—while vibrant visuals attract attention, intuitive layouts and clear messaging drive conversion. Additionally, refining trust-building elements, such as social proof and benefit-driven sections, helped reinforce brand reliability. This project deepened my understanding of user behavior and strategic design decisions, equipping me with valuable insights to apply in future projects.
