Are you regretting buying too much food and noticing that you have food waste?

Did you know that 40% of food in the US goes unconsumed?

 

As a student before, I was also experiences food waste, such as buying big mount of milk but not finishing it before it expires. This kind of waste can be a big problem if everyone does it. Under high-pressure situations, people can forget to eat or cook and become socially distant and depressed, losing their quality of life and connection with others. However, food can bring people together and build community. When I goes grocery shopping and cooks, they have the opportunity to meet their neighbors and roommates.

This inspired me to come up with the idea of using a "USEBY" application and product.
